She’s Back!!!!
Former assistant Nicole will be rejoining our team, but this time as Dr. Nicole. Dr. Nicole Piening was a member of our team for nine years prior to pursuing her dental degree from the University of Detroit. She is currently finishing her two-year pediatric dental residency at Case Western Reserve in Cleveland. She will return to her hometown and start taking care of patients at the end of July. In her spare time, she enjoys boating and spending time with her family.
This is good news for our patients because we will be able to meet their dental needs sooner. Also, Dr. Nicole has been trained in caring for apprehensive young children in the office as well as in the operating room. Our efforts to maintain constant emergency calls will be strengthened by having two doctors available for our patients needing emergency care.
This is good news for the office staff. Our scheduling team and office manager will have more doctor time available to schedule patients for appointments. This means they will be able to accommodate parent’s schedules better and treatment will be completed in a more efficient manner. New patients will be able to get in for examinations much sooner as well.
This is especially exciting for myself. I have been waiting for several years for Dr Nicole to return to the office. I am excited to work alongside her and hear about the new dental techniques for patient care that she has learned. A colleague to share ideas with will better our patient care. I am confident that Dr Nicole is the person that has the right combination of personality, education and skills to enhance the ability of our office to provide the best possible pediatric dental care for now and for many years to come.
As in any professional practice, we understand that patients or parents may have a doctor preference. We will do our best to honor such requests. I believe Dr. Nicole will be well received and respected by many people therefore minimizing the need for doctor selection.
